Your First Visit to Our West Valley San Jose Practice

You're not a stranger for long in our West Valley San Jose chiropractic office!

For some the purpose of the first visit is to determine if your health concern is something chiropractic can help and for others to see where in the health spectrum you are. In order to do this, we will perform a comprehensive exam, consultation and nervous system scan.

You can expect the first visit to take between 45 minutes to 1 hour.

We recommend you have your intake forms filled out prior to the appointment to expedite the process. These forms can be downloaded from our website.  Please bring to your first visit all information related to your health (medication list, information on current exercise program, nutritional questions, etc).  The more we know about your overall health, the better we can serve you!

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. We then will perform a nervous system scan and spinal examination to help identify the cause of your problem. Next, what to expect at your second visit.

West Valley San Jose chiropractic patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Jessica Asks some important questions of interest to West Valley San Jose residents - Chiropractor West Valley San Jose Dr. Jessica Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's your plan to deal with drug-resistant 'super germs'?
Chiropractors have always been concerned with the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, accelerating the mutation of microbes that make "wonder" drugs increasingly ineffective. My strategy? Do everything possible to bolster my immune system through proper diet, rest, exercise, clean air, pure water and an optimally functioning nervous system with regular chiropractic care.
